People cannot always stay at home to keep these pesky animals away. A motion activated sprinkler can do the job effectively for homeowners, especially for homes whose owners are out for the majority of the day.

The Trick: Water Sprays

As indicated by the name, a motion activated sprinkler is spurned to action when it detects movement within the scope of its infrared coverage. It automatically turns on and sprays water all over the place. This doesn’t do any harm to the birds or stray animals. It merely surprises and frightens them from coming near again.

These sprinklers should only be turned on when there’s no one staying on the yard. This device does not possess the technology that can distinguish between animals and people. If you step into and move within its area of sensory coverage, you’ll get your own dose of water spray as well. It might need tweaking, but it is nonetheless a useful device to have at home.
